High Energy 22 | Tracing Space

High Energy is a a yearly showcase for high school students to exhibit their artworks at Art Gallery of St. Albert. Each year, students are encouraged to explore a different theme. The theme for the 22nd high school student exhibition was “Tracing Space”.

When was the last time that you used a map? Chances are it was digital, on your phone, and taking your somewhere new, one turn at a time… This year, AGSA is challenging you to create an installation art piece inspired by maps. Your task… is to create an installation art piece inspired by a map (or many maps) from Canada.

I created a visual identity inspired by navigation to complement the exhibition theme. In addition to the visual identity, I created printed invites, wall vinyls, a newspaper ad, supporting website visuals and a motion typography video in After Effects.
